In my previous article (OM April-May 2017) I showed how to select keywords for phrases related to locations . Figure 7.1: Google map – statistics of business card views Figure 7.2: Google map – statistics of customer activities In the case of maps, it was important in terms of keywords: including keywords in the categories indicated for a given object weaving keywords into the website description keywords must be included in <title>, <description> tags - strict correlation of words on the website and maps 4. Cannibalization – the same words on many subpages When selecting keywords for a given page, it is often impossible to avoid cannibalization. It may also appear several (even!) months after the website launch.
This happens, among others, due to the slow operation of Google's indexing and ranking algorithms. Figure 8: example of "small" cannibalization In the above case, cannibalization occurs between the Phone Number List main page and the subpage. The position jumps are not great. Figure 9: Example of cannibalization between subdomain and main domain In the second case , keyword cannibalization occurs between the subdomain (launched blog) and the website that offers a specific service, a very negative and undesirable phenomenon, especially in the case of stores where we sell specific products.

Summary Keyword analysis should be performed at least once a quarter, thanks to which you can expand the strategy for acquiring organic traffic outlined at the beginning. So if you now look at your website, your website - think about what to do to make the keyword a good game, a game thanks to which you will expand your website and at the same time build a competitive advantage over the rest in your industry.
